Images & thoughts of my country

- Tired dads bringing their sons to hockey on a Saturday morning, Tim's large DD in hand...
- Amazing outdoor life & some of Mother nature's finest work
- Diversity in culture and climate
- Infectiously kind & generous people that would do anything to help anyone
- Great golf courses!

Honestly, I think we have a little bit of everything! Blame Canada! 😀

Timbo's is owned by an American company now. So much for it being a Canadian pride brand. 😀

All your donuts are belong to the Wendys' Corp. of Dublin, Ohio.

I thought tim horton's was doing pretty well here in michigan...they keep teaming up with wendy's

I always find good used CD stores in canada (toronto was great, I got so much stuff for $5-6 canadian, and $10-11 CAD for new discs)

Then there was the bar that gave us 2:1 on american dollars...

throw in reasonable perscription drug prices, health care, cultural tolerance, a government that at least doesn't appear to be full of idiots, and:

From my perspective (live in MI, have spent time in windsor, london and toronto):

canada > US. end of story.

I think Canada is the only country in the entire world that bases its own identity on another country. Thank god I escaped.

Poutine and hockey 😛

I'd pay $50 right now to have a nice poutine smothered in salt.

Heh heh. I order a side of cheese and gravy with my fries here in Texas and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy 🙁

Until they try it 😉

I agree with your statement, but I still feel the country is the best place on earth to live. I'm originally from the UK.

Alas, yes, we have those frenchies... always bitchin' about seperating from canada and becoming a distinct society. Nothing but a bunch of whiners that the rest of the country can't stand.

But then again, I'd take them anyday over that murdering warmonger George Bush.

Oh, and to set it straight. We DO NOT say "aboot!" We pronounce it "a-bowt." It's like saying every american talks like a redneck from texas, y'all reckon whut I'ma sayin? YEE HAW!

Well to read the Canadian News one would think that the Hells Angels have that country under siege:roll:

Yeah, it's an overall good country. I wouldn't say it's the best, but it's one of the best.
