Last things first... Your desktop looks great, as usual! 😉

Yes, I run dev releases, raw trunk builds, et cetera, on my production box, as much as possible.

When it breaks, I fallback to Ubu 10.10 (orphaned) temporarily, or crank up a portable -- laptop, netbook, USB stick (all currently under Peppermint 4).

And, I like GS Staging just fine. GS used to be a kludge (pre-3.8) but 3.9 Staging just keeps getting better n' better.

Tim is doing a good job of keeping it updated...
 
With Compiz leaves falling. I'm gonna be a sad panda when Compiz is finally dead. I already have an issue with the config utility. None of the titles showup. I have to hover over the checkbox to see what the item is. Dunno the problem :^/
