CPUz is accurate with this motherboard. For you MEM settings, on the main page of the BIOS, hit ctrl-F1, then you will find them in the M.I.T. section.

The Thermalright Ultra 120 will also fit this board nicely. The only obstructions would be if they fit your case.
I just got this board today. I am wondering how can I set memory timing in BIOS?
Also is there any way to show PWM temperature and FSB/MCH/PCI-E voltage in Windows?

Very cool, my question is to anyone...will the Radeon X1950XT fit on the GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R? I'm curious to know because the X1950XT takes up two slots, and don't know if theirs enough room in the motherboard for it. Thanks in advance guys
Does anyone know if this board is reading the temps of the new G0 stepping cpus wrong? i have an e6850 at 3.9 1.5v and the temps look really low, with lapped 120 extreme.

CPU Speed PICI do not why CPUz is not showing Correct Speed.
I can't find out where I can set the Memory Divider Ration
it is 1:2 I want 1:1
Also how I can check the Mem Speed
Cause I think some thing is FUNKY here

U probably have the power consumption option enabled in the bios, so when the cpu is on idle the vcore is drooped and the speed reduced to save power. Thats why cpu-z is showing that speed. Its correct though! I think that option is in the advances bios options and is something talking about c1 state.
The mem speed is in the overclocking section. U have to set to 2 instead of auto to be 1:1. U probably should take 5 mins to get to know the bios...it doesnt get simpler than that!
I have an 8800GTS it also takes 2 slots. No problems at all! ANd this thread is about P35C-DS3R not P35-DS3R

I am currently experiencing a problem with my new GA-P35C-DS3R board, it will not let me boot to a CD to install the OS, the Bios is version F1.
I have tryed a different DVD drive and IDE cable. (Note: The drive is the Master)

Press F12 when the logo shows and u go into the boot menu. If that doesnt work maybe its the cd disc whos damaged.
Tryed the F12 and select CD/DVD. The CD disk works in my other machine

I am planning on using this board in a new build with a 6750 and was wondering if this memory < Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)> would be a good choice if I wanted to oc the 6750.

Do I need a floppy drive to update the BIOS on this board? I'm considering this board to replace my P5B Deluxe which has corrupted BIOS. Reason I ask is because Asus' utility in the BIOS (simmilar to Gigabyte QFlash) allows you to update the BIOS from a flash drive as well as a floppy. I do not have a floppy drive and haven't for quite a long time.

I've got that memory running at 1066 on my GA-P35c-DS3R with no problems. The bios doesn't natively recognize the proper voltage for the RAM but its really easy to pump it up to +4 over the standard 1.8v and it runs totally fine.
I get really screaming Aquamark scores with my E6600, the ballistix was a damn good choice for me at least.

I have a Zalman 9500 Heatsink/Fan combo on my Intel e6600 Core 2 Duo CPU.
When I go into Bios the temps for CPU read 22Celcius.
My question is the CPU fan does not kick on, but It does move slightly as if it wants to spin up. Is there a certain temp that it needs to reach before it will kick on??? This seems odd. I took the fan and plugged it into the System Fan 1 connector on Motherboard and then it is running around 1200 rpm's all the time.
Any ideas? Could I have a defective motherboard? Is there a bios update or a setting I need to enable? I believe my mobo version is 1.1 and bought it from NewEgg.

Try turning off the smart fan setting in the bios. By turning it off, it should just kick the fan onto highspeed. The smart fan setting is an attempt to control the fan through the temperature. It actually caused my computer issues because it would set off the "fan not working alarm". Its just easier to turn it on all the way through the bios and then control the fan manually with the Zalman fan speed control.
