I think he had him killed too. It was just too perfect a situation- sniper takes only 1 shot at the truck and kills Hector. I'm not sure if Mack will get to Col Ryan or if it will be another member of the team but I think he's gone.

Col. Ryan is gone...not enough people like them, so he is the one "going missing" after the last episode of this season. For season 4 there will be a new colonel and a new team member, guys that will help ratings probably.

Anyway I started watching this show right away since one of the producers is Eric L Haney, of whom I read his book Inside Delta Force the day it came out. I am a SF freak so naturally I was drawn to this show, and I am glad Haney has kept it somewhat realistic.

Anyway Mac is my favorite character by far, he is bad ass.

I was so sad after the funeral episode, very well done and also realistic if you have read about some of the ceremonies.

Anyway I love the Unit.

Cobra have you read "Shadow Warriors" by Tom Clancy? Thought it was a good read about how the SF's came around to where they are today.

Yep...good book although not one of my favorites.

Other SF Books I highly recommend:

Rouge Warrior By Richard Marcinko
Delta Force by Charles Beckwith
Hunting The Jackal
Warrior Soul
Down Range
Black Hawk Down of course the best thing ever made along with the movie (If you could hold a PhD of the Battle of Mog. I would be the first)
One Perfect Op

A few others I am forgetting probably...Those are all excellent...

The funeral scene was realistic as you can get. From the boots, rifle, helmet to calling his name. It really hit me due to past real life experiences.

But Im sure thats what a good show does, is hit on stuff thats affected your life and if it can alter your moods its considered a good show.

I think Mack switched bullets before giving it to Blaine. This bullet has been played out too much to end up just as a memento in Ryan's box. It'll resurface again.

Mac seeing the Col at the end of the last episode was fairly eerie. Wonder how long till the start going for a replacement for Hector.

That was an interesting episode last night but I don't understand why Bob had a hard time going to assassinate an assassin? i understand assassinating that leader is almost like premeditated murder, but that assassin was like stopping a crime before it would be committed. The kid haunting him was very interesting.

Never had to kill anyone but I can only guess it can get to someone after a while. I didn't like that they basically set up a Molly-centric show in the future with her dad.

without the female component of the show, the unit would get cancelled due to low ratings. the molly component is there so wives will watch too.

Anyone else think Bob is going to be off the team? Or at least be forced to sit out a couple of missions to get his head straight.

I think his trip over to put a smack down on that kids dad was about all the theropy he needed.

Another interesting show, particularly how they ended up sniping some guy in the crowd at the end. I may have missed it in the beginning as I was moving around, but I originally had thought they were going after the leader right up until the shot went off.

the wives are there to show the loneliness of living on base, and that beneath the harden exterior of discipline of the shotcallers,
weakness led them to prey on others' poon

I'll agree, last night was one of the worst episodes yet. Anyone know when the next episode is, at the end of the show last night, it didn't say to stayed tuned for scenes from the next episode

Probably not for a few weeks. They usually take a break during the holiday anyway, and the hollywood writers strike is bound to extend the break....

Was last nites episode #11? They might not have anymore episodes because of the strike. I like the team based episodes when they are in the field.

Yeah last nights wasn't that good. But I think the rest of this season's were very good so they definitely make up for it.

As for the new show, there's a show this coming Tuesday but judging from the description, it's a re-run.
