As much as I like the show, I have to agree with ya... last night's wasn't that great. Definitely an "oh snap" moment at the end though.

Yeah, about halfway through the episode I thought it was a shitty filler episode, which it was. I could have watched the last 5 minutes and been just as happy. The rest of the season has kicked ass though.

I just watched season1 on DVD and am partway through season 2 Don't get network TV so have not been watching this season. Overall I like it the action is good but think the writers are lazy I figure out most of the so called plot twist right away and I am getting tired of the drama on the home front its worse than a soap opera. I appreciate the fact that they want to show how military life can be hard on the family but don't make it a soap opera.

Read the post you quoted. Last week, Williams caught Col. Ryan and Tiffy @ the Hotel as he was leaving. I like the show so much and am so blind to the bigger picture, I had totally forgotten about that. I think JDMnAR1 is on point with the prediction of Col. Ryan either being the sniper or orchestrating it.

All the episodes end too quickly imho. But in order to get all the stuff they can in to the time slot, can't really get detailed in the ending.

Take last night for example. One minute they're in a gunfight with Hezbollah in an apartment building, running dangerously low on ammo (yet don't pick up one of the several dropped AK's on the ground?). Take 30 seconds to decide on the 10-block sprint to the beach. Break out the doors, .45's drawn. Oh look, the Marines just pulled up in the driveway. Cool. Lets go!

The only way they could fix this is to basically eliminate the wifey crap. Although I don't mind seeing Tiffy working the pole at the, ahem, "Gentleman's Club"

i wasnt referring to the plot, i was referring to real life why they had to kill off the character, it means that the dude playing hector is out of a job for now.

i thought they maybe would be extracted by helicopter from the roof or something. Not marines just drive up to them. That made no sense, how did marines get there? how did they just drive up in a truck? If militants were searching all over, they would certainly start shooting at a bunch of marines in a truck. it felt like that other episode where they were stuck in the minefield, and just cross to the other side, oh look. truck full of troops. its like huH? thats too easy. video game easy.

Interesting and sad ep last night.

Will be cool to see them go through the recruiting of a new operative. Was wondering when Tiffy/Mac were going to kiss and make up, although the previews of next week put a nice soap opera twist in that ordeal.

Curious as to what/where Hector (the actor) will show up next.
