SPOILER ALERT
Busted into looney bin. Next up for execution was Snake Doc's daughter. Ryan went berserk on the guards and they took him for execution instead of the daughter. Ryan sits in front of the camera and says that his men mean everything to him over and over, ignoring what the terrorists want him to say. The team busts in, kills the terrorists, rescues Ryan, the daughter, and one other Marine. Police storm the asylum and the team are trapped inside the basement. Ryan and Snake Doc stay behind to hold off the police by holding an AK to the neck of their translator hostage while the rest of the team escape through a sewer. Ryan says he will stay behind to keep on holding the AK to the hostage's neck, but the hostage is a holy man and identifies with Snake Doc's love for his daughter, and says he will hold the AK on himself while Ryan and Snake Doc escape (the police can't see who is holding the AK because they are in a doorway and the wall blocks sight of the guy holding the AK.)
Everyone escapes and arrives at a safe house waiting for extraction by a helo. The team go into a private room to settle the matter of Ryan and Mack takes out his revolver. Jonas won't let Mack use the gun, and so they go into hand to hand combat. Ryan gets defeated and is on the ground waiting for Mack to kill him when Jonas says to Mack that he doesn't give a damn if Mack kills him but asks if killing him will make him a better warrior. Scene cuts to helicopter extraction. Ryan is the last guy to hop on the helo.
Scene turns to the hospital. Ryan is in one of the beds conked out. Daughter and mother reunite and the daughter says she did everything that her mom had told her to do - walk slowly, show no fear, and don't look back - alluding to the time when their car had broken down, and showing that perhaps there was some sort of connection between the two after all.
