I like it, but I really think the Sgt Major (President David Palmer) is seriously mis-cast. All his lines and mannorisms seem out of place.
damn just watched last week's one with the other "Units" from other countries. Thats awesome, wish they had showed what the others did though. Saw the board, they had Germany, US, UK, Russia, France in that order, where's the Israelis????
i liked this episode a lot...it was great taking a break from havign to watch the drama theri wives cause....
im starting to think they need to focus on the mission a lot more and the wives less...

CBS, channel 3 here, was out off the air or something last night! 
Of all channels, of all times, it has to be CBS @ 9pm. I seen a preview for last night's episode and it looked excellent.

that episode was awesome.
Some parts I didn't like though:
How come some of the helmets look small?
"Do you want to live forever?" I thought that was lame
Its odd how dead bodies just seem to disappear. When they get pushed back and then counterattack...all the dead bodies are gone it seems.
Yeah it was an excellent episode.
That was the first where it didn't show anything with the wives. I can see where it gets old (wish they would put a little less emphasis/time on them), but some of the wives' stories are good, so it's kinda cool that the series isn't strictly the team of 5 + the colonel.

No one seems to die in that show. Not from their Alpha team anyway. That Jeremy guy got pretty messed up though, and that super hot yet dumb bitach won't even go see him!

I watched on episode and it was boring as hell, it mostly centered around some guy standing in front of a cake for about a half an hour, then two ladies randomly flew to Vietnam to find some dead guy.

The series premiere episode was the best one. I like it when they don't focus on the wives, especially the blonde one.
Yeah a couple of them are slow. But several 24 and Lost episodes have been slow this season. Pretty normal for most series I think.
In particular, S02E11 (the guy trying to land the plane) was probably my least favorite all season. Ep15 with the bomb in the cake was slow, as well as Ep13 in the submarine but the psychiatry thing was kinda cool.
OTOH, the most recent, Ep17, as well as 16, 8, and some earlier ones were EXCELLENT.
I really started liking season 2 for the first 6 or 8, but after that only every other was really good IMO. Most of season 1 was good, but a few not so much.
Either way, killer show. I'm looking at Amazon right now to see about ordering "Inside Delta Force", which got great reviews on there.

whats up with Huey's in the show? Its like that one episode where they try to insert special forces teams in Huey's...uh no.

Huey's have been used for deployment, and if you'll recall, Brown was in disbelief that they were actually using them. Right after, Bravo's Huey had mechanical problems and was forced to land. I don't understand your helmet comment. They are SF, not RA. The M4 is in the IDF arsenal.
i could have done without the whole valuable coin subplot...seriously they should just focus on the team...the wives stuff is just boring most of the time...a bunch of useless drama
besides i keep remembering her as the hooker from the Shield....she looked better with dark hair

The focus on the team draws in male viewers while the focus on the wives draws in the female viewers. As per my fiancee last night, "I wouldn't watch this show if it was all action all the time. I like the dichotomy."
