What is even the point of that?
If you do placebo tests they will not have any effect on the outcome plus or minus but if you are hoping your test will show that a placebo is no different in effect than a vaccine the test will have just that placebo effect. You will imagine what isn't there.

Placebo controlled trials for new vaccines where there is already a standard vaccine available are unethical. The comparator arm should never be less than the standard of care. That's why new vaccines use noninferiority trial designs in testing.

You seem to be trying to make sense. Large numbers of people try to do that.

I specialize in a narrower interest. I look to discover and expose how people avoid seeing their insanity. As I am old and started this project in my youth long ago using myself as a test case, noting first in myself and then in others all manner of such cowardliness. Unfortunately and for others not for me, the result is that others seem to find me quite, well lets just say in possession of a peculiar smell generally causing them to run in haste. But what can I say? I had to endure along the way contact with numerous stinky people who taught me wondrous things.

Science is a wonderful thing.

I find it very difficult to comment in this thread.. because I just can't comprehend what sort of education or education level would be required for people to go.. yep that sounds like a good idea.

I think “Last Week Tonight” put it best…you cannot put a man who goes barefoot into an airplane lavatory in charge of our healthcare (and are his pants soaked in urine or are those just shadows???)

-I stopped at "shoes off on an airplane". I might be one of those econoclass plebs but that should be an auto death sentence.

Just nasty.

You can take your shoes off in select scenarios, but you better have on footwear other than socks when walking around the plane. Walking around sock-foot or barefoot on a plane, especially to the bathroom is gross.

For instance, on some international long-haul flights, they'll give you slippers to walk around in if you don't want shoes on.

As a recap the Health Secretary is saying vaccines are bad and is choosing to swim with children in sewage.

This guy genuinely needs to be under some sort of professional mental health supervision.
Heck he just testified in congress yesterday, that he wouldn't want anybody to take his medical advise. More, you can't make this shit up. Onion, you need to work harder.

- If you did the airport in flip-flops, then OK. Your feet are aired out and aren't going to stink the whole place up. Still gross when you're cramped together and some jackass wants to cross their legs or something but at least the smell isn't a huge factor.

But if you were wearing shoes while hauling ass to make your flight and your feet are swampy, keep your god damn shoes on.

Ah, bringing back memories of flying international business class. Makes domestic first class look like a joke.

Hey at least he came out and said people shouldn't take medical advice from him. A rare moment of clarity.

Anyone with 2 functioning brain cells knew this

But yet he was confirmed by congress… pretty much right down party lines
In all fairness most health secretaries have not been doctors so generally speaking you probably shouldn’t have taken medical advice from them either.

I think the more salient point here is that you shouldn’t take medical advice from someone who eats roadkill and has a worm devour part of his brain.
