More tangible signs that RFK Jr. might actually end up spoiling things for Republicans. Color me surprised? Still hesitant to believe it—but hopeful? I still think the best outcome for Biden in swing states is keeping RFK Jr’s name off the ballots.

This is why we aren't hearing much about him in the media lately, since now it looks like he is more likely to hurt the fascist GQP vs Dems. now it's pretty quiet on him in the mainstream media

He's a better fit for right wing nuts than left wing nuts, especially his anti-vaccine stuff which a lot of Rs love.

The idea that he could syphon votes away from Trump is credible.

His anti-vaxx shit played way more to the GQP nutjobs. That's why Trump started trashing him a few weeks back.

Just remembered someone showed up at his campaign event with a loaded gun recently. I guess someone sees him as a threat—but to whom?

I still remain firmly convinced that if RFK was not murdered he have been President and pretty much the entire decline of this country that began with Nixon (and the successively even worse GOP Presidents) would be nothing but a bad nightmare.

Genuine question - why would RFK have been a good president? I think JFK was a pretty bad one and is mostly thought of well because he was killed.

Who knows? I'll venture why I think he might have been. He would have tried to get us out of 'Nam far earlier. Late in the game, he got religion at the plight of the very poorest of black folk.

I credit him and his brother with getting us through the Cuban missile crisis.

He was always passionate and dogged about whatever he did, from HUAC (oops!) through being the Atty General. I think his heart was in the right place more than JFK's was, so, with Dem majorities still then in both houses, he would have been at the very least as good or better a President than any other pol with a credible shot at the nomination in '68.

I think a very reasonable answer to Russian missiles in Cuba was ‘who gives a shit’.

Then I'm glad you weren't President at the time.

Heard RFK speak for the first time a few days ago. Does he have some sort of speech impediment?

He comes across as one creepy, possibly brain damaged MOFO. It's a shame his last name is Kennedy. We really are a shallow, faux celebrity obsessed banana republic.

The entire Kennedy clan went to the Whitehouse to show support for Joe Biden. How about that big F-you to the whackjob?
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/kennedy-family-rfk-biden-2024-election-rcna144163

Some members of the extended Kennedy clan already have issued statements making it clear they stand with Biden this fall. But a gathering of dozens of Kennedys at the White House last weekend marked the beginning of a more active effort by the family to boost Biden’s re-election effort and push back against one of their own.

People were wondering whether RFK would siphon Biden or Trump supporters. Well, look at the VP. There you go, it's official. Nicole will hardly resonate with anyone throughout the midwest and south. It's almost as if RFK is intentionally trying to torpedo Biden.

I've been open about my support for a Manchin presidency even though everyone thinks I'm insane, but at least Manchin had the good sense to ultimately be like naw bro if I don't have a legit chance then fuck it.

RFK might be nuttier than an entire Planters Peanuts factory if he thinks he really has a shot -- is he truly that naive, or, is he in reality working on behalf of the Republicans.

It's funny because antivaxxers used to be split between right wing religious nuts and left leaning I only eat organic types but thankfully Trump has mostly made antivax conspiracy theories a rightwing ideology. One of the few good things he has done showing how retarded antivaxx skepticism is by embracing it.
