haha, thanks. I don't think I've gone full retard, but I can honestly say that some switch has gone off. And if anyone hasn't found space to react to what the GOP hath wrought on this country over the last 2 years and at this very moment, then that person probably needs to examine their priorities a bit--assuming that person actually cares about the state of this country. Whatever direction it takes you, it's hard to imagine someone invested in this country not undergoing a strong reaction to this climate.

There hasn't been even a single day of "unobstructed conservative rule", and I doubt even as a conservative that I'd like that at all. We need a nice balance, not one sided, that always works out badly no matter which side it is.

Zin has one of the worst cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome here, and that's saying a lot. However, he retains his sense of humor to a degree, so there's hope. None of us are reasonable about everything; he just had the misfortune that his source of derangement, Cheeto Jesus, somehow became President. He'll get over it. Four years, tops.

Maybe, although some would argue that "normal people" looking at issues objectively and then choosing the least objectionable major party choice is how we came to be presented with a choice between Cheeto Jesus and PIAPS. This is how Mao and Stalin could kill more people than Hitler. Leftists have an intolerance of opposition viewpoints while rightists are mostly just deranged/stupid/brainwashed. Moderates see lefties as more dangerous because of this, as a European it is simple for me to see why Americans don't want these leftist people in control. They are too dangerous to be allowed power.
