heh, if done well the cheese doesn't matter. Its overpowered by the tomato/onion/bread.

Its a southern thing.

Just found this...

"It is the Broodwich. Forged in darkness from wheat harvested in hell's half acre. Baked by Beelzebub. Slathered with mayonnaise beaten from the evil eggs of dark chicken force-fed to dogs by the hands of a one eyed mad man. Cheese boiled from the rancid teat of fanged cow. Layered with 666 separate meats from an animal, which has maggots for blood."

Not really a sandwich guy...but...
3 slices wheat toast, turkey, ham, roast beef, bacon, lettuce, tomato, a little mayo...similar to club sandwiches.

Skip the peppers and add Genoa salami, lettuce, tomato, a little oregano and a drizzle of olive oil.Oh my God, I'm starving.

lettuce and prosciutto...blech! the rest is ok. Maybe sundried tomatos though.

I could think of so many ultimate sandwiches. This would be my current one.

A club sandwich, toasted wheat bread.
Touch of extra virgin olive oil on the bottom slice, genoa salami, prosciutto, havarti cheese, red onion, lettuce, and maynaise on the bottom layer.
Sliced tomatos, turkey, horseradish, corned beef, cucumbers, salt and pepper, mustard.

In that order from the bottom up.

Considering I named eight things constituting "stuff" I have to ask, to what stuff are you referring?

For reasons unknown, cucumbers don't suit me, but other than that sounds damn good.

best hamburger topping is swiss cheese, bacon, and guacamole. And lettuce and tomato, of course.

Must be the gas.

Yeah, definately gas. Havarti cheese is the shiznit though, mainly because you can get it with whatever you like - chives, garlic, proscuitto, mice, whatever.
