I took my headphones off in a Cessna Citation once and probably lost some hearing for flying that way for a while. I would imagine sitting in basically a bathtub on top of a 100,000 horsepower turbine would be a little noisey.

Amazing how much of a difference the headsets make.

Bump for the evening crowd - Apparently this airplane belongs to the Greek Air Force. This is F16 C Block 52.

Noisiest plane I have ever dealt with, each take-off sets off all the car alarms in the parking lot.

Hope the F-35 isn't that obnoxiously loud.
