Nerdy Nerdy... Nerd ALERT!~ ;)

But I was a "cool guy" in high school & college:D & I still own a custom van:D

you thought you were a cool guy in highschool, and custom van screams DORK! not nerd

Ok Ok, but I still hold the one hitter record & most skipped school record... 2 years after I graduated, my principal still hated me. True story, a friend of mine mentioned my name & the principal turned purple & made veins stand out on his forehead 2 years after I'd graduated:D

So did RossMAN. I'm not sure what I do that makes me nerdy. BTW, Broohaha, there's nothing wrong with that. My friend records Stern every morning on his comp and makes an mp3 of each day which he listens to on his Nomad.

Anyway, I nominate NuclearFusi0n:D
I am still looking for a future ex-wife on that Russian mail order bride site...

Don't worry, Sealy and I have an open relationship. We have complete trust in each other. Isn't she a wonderful girl? I would say you should come with me and my buddy Thursday night but he just got hitched two months ago (wife is uber hot). I dunno what I'd two with you two. We'll see what I can come up with

So I got a PIC 16c765 microcontroller with built in USB port, a PIC programmer, and made myself a custom USB peripheral.

So there! Out-nerd *that*!

This absolutely has to fvcken win :D

I'm impressed. You have slightly more Spider-Man stuff hanging around than I do, but not by much. :p

Haha, that's only half of it. ;)

some of my biggest interests in computers are kernel-level code, low level network stuff, user interface "methods", web design, relatively high level networking, security and cryptography, scripting languages, network services (dns, mail, http, etc), basically everything about software and networking :p

UNIX! :D

or does the fact that i like to code crap like this make me a nerd? :p (refresh the last 3 a few times each, notice something? ;))

The fact that you said UNIX and smiled makes you a nerd in my book :)

At least you weren't the founder and president of the astronomy club like me. :)

I spent a few days figuring out an undocumented dlls interface so I could create a wrapper to log the function calls to reverse engineer a warcraft 3 map protector so I could improve upon it. I pay for webspace that hosts pretty much just my map protector. ( http://extprotect.psychosanity.com )

I vote NogginBoink winner. Custom-built hardware is definitely nerdy =-)

i've built my own athlon. not a system, the actual processor.

just kidding. there are a lot of people on this board that are making me feel very un nerdy, but boogiman's gps remote control car seems like it should be a contender for 1st place.
