I would say that John Myung is much more talented. 🙂

Guitars: Ibanez JS1200, Fender Strat, Alvarez AD60CK (neffing.com hosting gone, so no pics)

Throw your pics up on pics.bbzzdd.com

Shouldn't you be playing an ESP? 😀

Pic
My two main guitars and amps

Austin Acoustic/Electric - Plays really well for a cheaper Korean-made guitar. Elixir strings.
Yamaha AES500 - Humbuckers, coil tapped (push on tone control to switch). Fender strings.
2 Marshall Micro Stacks (two of them were cheaper than one on ebay for some odd reason)
Silver Jubilee edition (25th anniversary) is 25/50 watts, but the control to switch between modes doesn't work--only kicks into 50 watt mode when volume is all the way up. So it goes from being loud at 9 to really, really loud at 10. The white one is 12 watts, and is the one I use on a day-to-day basis, since 12W is plenty for my living room.
My Alvarez 12 string, Ovation Ultra, and Cort J Triggs are not pictured.

You got some nice stuff for a poor guy.

Guitar(s)- Taylor 414ce (my baby), G&L Tribute Legacy (more-so my brother's, I don't play much electric).
Bass- G&L Tribute L2000. WOW!!! Best $550 bass I've every played. Why? It has American G&L pickups. Very versatile. Replacement to a stolen Warwick 🙁
Amps- No guitar amp. Nemesis 2x10 Combo. I've had this for 8 years. I love it.

I'm a studio performer so I have a bunch of home studio gear too.

Pic to get things started PIC

Axes- '72 Jazz Bass, Tobias Killer B 5 string, Dean acoustic bass

Amp - Trace Elliott Commando 15"

Inspiration - Victor Wooten, Jack Bruce, Geddy Lee, Les Claypool, John Paul Jones

Favorite bands - Led Zep, Cream, Rush, Allman Brothers, White Stripes (no bass there 🙁, but still quite good)

Favorite songs to play - no specific songs, but with a kickass lead player, Red House is always fun.

Guitars: Fender Squire M70, Washburn F-10S
Amp: Roland Microcube
Effects: Vox Tonelab
Influences: Townshend, Harrison, Punk, Alt

Yeah, Satch and Vai are pretty damn good.

Going to see Satriani and Vai in Vancouver in April. Can't fvking wait. 😉

Heh, I remember seeing a video of G3 2003 (I think it was) over at a friends house, watching Satch, Vai and Malmsteen on the same stage was fuvking great. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I was at the G3 show in Toronto in Nov 03. It was awesome.

I bet that Taylor feels real nice! My brother-in-law has a Taylor that he practically sold his soul to own. 🙂 I've played it once, and it's a beautiful guitar. I've never played another acoustic that could even begin to compare.

My uncle has this guitar. I played it once and I've never been the same.

Obligatory Pic: Les Paul Black Beauty, Martin D-15 Ovation CC01 (Sunburst color) Couple of epiphone electrics and a Washburn electric (bought for my daughter)

Amp: Practice amp, 70's dual cone VOX amp (not sure of model).

Guitarists that inspire me: Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Everly Brothers, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddly, Richie Valens, Eddie Cochrane, Pink Floyd, The Who, Guess Who

A Few of my Favorite Bands: Led Zeppelin, Cream, Rolling Stones, Everly Bros., Elvis
Few of my Favorite Songs to Play on Guitar: Bron Yr Aur Stomp, The Rain Song, Back in Black, Somethin' Else, Summertime Blues, lots of classic & obscure rock/oldies

An old school strat (mid sixties model I bought awhile ago and play rarely) and a sunburst late 80's strat, with lace pickups and Floyd whammy bar. Obligatory Marshall half-stack but have been messing around with some older Fender heads.

Guitarists who inspire me: Too many to mention. I like everything from the Beatles to Pink Floyd to 70s-80s metal (Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, etc.) and punk (Sex Pistols, Misfits, Descendents, etc.). I don't like much 90s-modern music

I would only add SRV to some of the above mentioned. :music: RIP :music:
