I got it in 1987 for $550. It's a '72 and I think it was the last of a series. I only play it at home or for really important gigs, otherwise I take my modded Epiphone.

Every time Fritzo posts a pic of that guitar, I die a little inside 🙁
Okay, maybe it's not that bad, but I'm envious nonetheless.

My stuff at the moment (mostly cheap sh!t):

Guitars: Fender MIM Strat w/Lace Sensors, Squier Tele Custom II, Washburn WD300SW acoustic. Pic of my electrics here
Bass: Squier Affinity Bronco w/EMG Select pickup
Keyboard: Evolution MK-249C (I run it through Reason)
Percussion: I use Fruity Loops for arranging simplistic loops
Amps: Behringer GX210, V-Amp Pro, ProCo Rat2

Influences: Britpop, new wave, shoegazer.
Guitarists I admire: Billy Corgan (SP), Graham Coxon (Blur), Johnny Marr (The Smiths), Noel Gallagher(!) (Oasis), Rivers Cuomo (Weezer)

I just started recording last week. I'm not too good at it...the only thing I've done so far is a cover of Just Like Honey by The Jesus and Mary Chain. I'd post it but I don't have a host 🙂 Hopefully I'll record some original stuff soon.

Wish I didn't sell my Martin HD-28 (I think it was a late 80's model), whatever it was, had the nice aging to it and sound...

Snagged $1650 for it on the resell, and it cost me $1250 to buy.

College money was needed.

I may get a Yamaha or low end Les Paul copy to mess with soon.

😕 When did you sell it? That's like a $3000 concert guitar!

🙂

I'll try to post my other ones and some solo recordings I've made (I like raw acoustic stuff, so I have a lot of that).

We're in the middle of trying to fix our house up for sale, so I only get a chance to post from work now, so not sure when I can do that.

What pedals do you people use? Might need to add that in 🙂

Around 1999...for whatever reason the market wasn't going well on them then...I needed a few thousand dollars as I wasn't working while going to college and financial aid said I should have been able to save at least 30% of my previous income to use for school

If I could save 30% why go back to college really 🙂

my old ad from google. It was actually a 1986, I sold in 1998.

Martin HD-28 in excellent shape, 1986 model with narrow neck and adj. truss
rod.

Korg tuner.

Original hardshell case, manual, and warranty card (though used by original
owner).

Full set of gold and chrome tuner knobs.

Signed by C.F. Martin IV inside soundhold.

goldline+ pickup.

Strap, new set of marquis light gauge strings, and new bottle of Martin
polish.

Asking $1500 obo plus shipping, prefer sale face to face if possible.

Going back to college, toys must go to help me pay for it.

Shouldn't you be playing an ESP? 😀

Can't afford his Signature guitar. 🙁
Nor can I afford another guitar for that matter.

I was using a Boss SD-1 for a while for a little dirt and lead boost but have no use for it now. Friend lent me a ProCo Rat last week, thinking of getting one eventually.

Bought this cheap Behringer UB502 mixer yesterday. Had my Tonelab, iPod, Korg MA30, headphones, and amp tied into it. My fiancée walked in and thought I was wiring up a bomb :Q

I could have bought one of the true signature KH guitars about a year ago for $600 from my brother-in-law, but I was saving for the Ibanez, so I turned it down. He ended up selling it on Ebay for $1400.
