I broke down last night, and spent a whopping 2 minutes putting on the BACK license plate and removing the temporary trip permit (since it expired 9/5/2002) ... however I haven't put on the front license plate yet since there's no screws but there are holes!

One miracle at a time. Besides I'm sure that 99% of the time cops look at license plates from behind rather than from in front of you.

One time my friends and I were bored and wondering about the travel times to a town that wasn't too far away. So, we raced from Salem to Independence. He left in a Honda CRX and took the highway. I left a few minutes later in a Porsche and took the twisty back-road way. I got there first.
When he arrived about 5 minutes later he passed by and saw me sitting by the side of the road with a Police car behind me! I'm sure he (and everyone else who passed by) figured I got caught speeding.
When I told him the only reason I was pulled over was because I didn't have a front license plate his reaction was :Q:|

In california, they'll pull you over and ticket you for not having one, hell, if you're parked on the street without one they'll ticket you for it. It's the damn Red light cameras they have set up here. buncha bs. :disgust:
