I haven't even heard of any of most of these cities and I'm a CA resident. We have so many poor cities because we have the highest population of any state, thus we have many of the richest and poorest cities. Don't even try to clain that we are somehow less intelligent than the rest of the nation, here's some reasons- UC Berkeley, Stanford, Cal Tech, UCLA, USC, Pomona, UCSD. Yup, we also have 1/5 of the nation's top 50 colleges according to the rankings (even more in other rankings).
