If I recall from the tariff rollout in April, those shipments already arrived.
However, the more we decouple from China, the less reason they have to avoid total war. The damage it would cost them is already accumulating. Long held incentives for peace are fading.

Self awareness is just the capacity to know what you feel by actually by feeling what you feel. It is the required step in knowing that what you feel is what you believe the truth to be, a perquisite for knowing your inner truth is a lie. Lack of self awareness is the belief that what you really believe, what you really feel is not what you really feel instead of self awareness that you believe lies. This structure of denial rather than truth seeking is the pretense called ego where instead offering an unpleasant truth you pretend. This pretense is the unconscious bigotry where belief in self is based on external validations of unexamined assumptions as to what truth is.
One can be aware that others are incapable of self awareness and be in the same state oneself if possibly to a lesser extreme but to mock those who are asleep to what they really feel is hypocrisy. Who among us is fully self aware. Had you not a capacity to suppress the truth of what you feel, the indignity and rage of being put down as a child and continued to protest your fate, the brutality would have continued. This is why we say things like the beatings will continue until moral improves. Unconsciously we know what happened. It only becomes safe to wake up when you have some being capacity for independence. Pretty sure you are there.

Even if you don't buy "stuff", costs go up all around for everyone. Others may turn to used goods to save money, driving up demand there. Fewer trucks moving durable goods from ports means those trucks won't be in the heartland to make return trips with foodstuffs, leading to more expensive shipping for food.
The whole affair is anti-constitutional, and it's aided and abetted by Roberts' SCOTUS buddies, who have shown they can act quickly when they want to, or slow walk other things, and by a Republican congress that would rather lick Trump's asshole than protect their power as a separate and premier branch of government.
