Soybean farmers are boned and short of a massive federal bailout which may or may not come are not likely to survive at least as they presently exist. Trump's tariffs have not only collapsed their export market but also driven up all the inputs to create a (quite foreseeable) economic armageddon.
Trump will bail them out...he can't lose their vote. Of course...it's not socialism when the "right" people are being handed money.

Yeah, it was one thing in his first term. But at this point, he doesn't need em'. Remember what Trump said: You won't have to worry about ever voting again.
I also think he doesn't particularly care if repugs win the mid-terms. He had Congress pass the tax cuts for himself and his rich crony friends, so he doesn't need them anymore. Everything else he's doing via executive order, and more than half of those stomp all over the powers normally given to the legislature but they're too cowed by him to care. It's actually amazing that they essentially own all 3 branches of government and they have passed almost no legislation of significance.

It's already too late for some of them. Whenever this bailout is supposed to happen probably should have been months ago instead. He doesn't seem concerned lol.
LOL, who are we kidding? If there is a bailout, it will be as tax breaks for the PEs, REITs, and banks “forced” to buy these distressed farm assets for pennies on the dollar.

The issue is who will use those farms considering that people won't buy it?

And don't think giving it to Africa would be a good idea.
