Biggest crime also. Trump does not have the authority to dictate taxes. Yet he acts without law.
America is a lawless country.

If there are no laws to hold a country together.. maybe the country shouldn't be held together!

Let the law loving people go!

Some analysts saying tariffs won't really hit full force till April next year.

Trump bringing the whole world together!!!

It's weird isn't it.. the rest of the world values education and progress so when America turns to destroy education and progress.. America becomes the problem!

This isn't a fight MAGA are gonna win.. they're 3% of the world at best.

But I fully expect Trump to nuke India 500 times or something to try and teach the world a lesson.

It's not about winning vs the world, it's about power at home.

Trump's goal is to end our Democracy.
The military force to achieve that will need the excuse / cover of unrest.
His economic and governmental policy is to destabilize the nation to the point of creating that unrest.

Agreed. He's rolling out military in cities now to get people used to seeing armed troops on the street while he dismantles democracy.

Autocracies seldom do well economically. Hitler was similar enamored with tariffs and similarly implemented nonsensical tariffs when he first came to power.

That could happen, but the lesson we should take away is that we should always make them make the ruling; don't give them anything in advance to make it easier for them to issue bs.
I don't think there is a could about it. They ruling today doesn't go into effect till Mid October, allowing for appeal to the SCOTUS. If the past history of the SCOTUS BS rulings are any indication, they will allow the tarrifs to continue until they hear the appeal, or "rule" that it needs to be returned to the lower courts with no explanation, or a calvinball one, allowing the tarrifs to continue. I mean come on, the conservative side of the SCOTUS has proven that they have Trump's junk so far down their throats, it would make a professional hooker/porn star choke.

The Folgers coffee I've bought for decades was running around $9.99/40+ oz 2 years ago, about 13.99 a year ago. It's now $21.94 at WalMart
