For all we know, they already priced it accordingly. Better to have a high price and mark it down later than a lower price you may have to mark up.
How did they predict Trump would use ChatGPT to determine tariffs for Japan?
Truly Nintendo are business gods to have foreseen that.

Aren't half of Samsung's fabs in Texas though?
So Nintendo switched much of its productions away from China because of tarriffs/possible tariffs during Trump 1. It switched its production to Vietnam thinking it would be safe. Nope not with a dumbass leading the US.

I want to know if Congress portfolios is hurting as well or did they magically escape the slope just before it happened?

U.S. Sites: Everything is Bigger in Texas

Expanding Samsung Foundry’s footprint across the U.S., the Austin and Taylor fabs—located in Texas within about 30 miles of each other—are designed to increase capacity and flexibility for a growing network of manufacturing customers. Equivalent in complexity to Korea’s fabs, the two sites draw on thousands of talented experts and technologists across the continent to support an endless variety of products, making each foundry facility more than the sum of its parts

The largest single fab in the U.S. is in Austin. In operation since 1996, the Austin fab provides stable manufacturing of 65nm to 14nm processes. Expanding those boundaries in service and production scale is the new 5 million ㎡ fab in Taylor. Support from the nearby Austin site and collaboration with Korea’s manufacturing network ensure the Taylor fab rapidly scales up Samsung Foundry’s global manufacturing from its launch.

Nope, only 14nm...

Wait don't tariffs actually lead to higher inflation??

So shouldn't interest rates actually be going up??

More of the MAGA backwards logic.. do the opposite of common sense??

Maybe it would if companies were charging more to make more profit, but that money is going straight to the government.

they increase cost but de-incentivize purchasing. so you want to lower rates so people can absorb the increase initial cost vs. future borrowing cost.

look at it this way. Inflation is what it costs. Interest rate is what is spent.

I guess economic prosperity is now considered woke?
Oh, wait, maybe this is a part of his war on DEI?
I'm sure we could create a great scroll of things that are woke and that liberals now get to own:
  • Economic prosperity
  • Killing Nazis
  • Defeating fascism
  • Defeating Imperial Japan
  • Science
  • Books
  • Veterans Services
  • National Parks
  • National security
  • Free trade
  • ...

So the rich will get free money from taking out loans while the people get to absorb the inflation and the wealth gulf further widens like we saw with the pandemic.

Yep, I keep thinking that. It would be nice if we had a vote-of-confidence system in the USA wherein congress could call a special election to choose a new president/administration. Intelligently designed democracies have been known to do this.

Edit: Actually I believe it's 3.8 years left. We're 74 days in. 74/365 = 0.20. HANK IN THERE.
Never forget our constitution was written by slavers, not people who gave a shit about freedom for the people.

Only because of Trumpflation and the tariffs from hell.
Pretty soon, the US Mint will be printing Zimbabwe denomination dollars.
