Would suck if you're into beer since American beer has gone from dogshit to arguably the best in the world the last 45 years. But IDK Canadian beer well, hopefully they have some breweries on par with some of the awesome American ones like Stone, Sierra Nevada, Deschutes, Dogfish Head, etc. Shit, if anyone has some good recommendations I wouldn't mind supporting Canadian brewers.
Labatt's Blue was real good back in the day after I realized Bud Light was pisswater. Hard to find further south than Ohio.

Having a shit tone of "hand crafted " Micro brews doesn't make us having "the best in the world". Fuck, the US didn't even win a single award for beer in 2024:

Can't say I'm a fan at all, only lagers I like much are the old school Czech and Slovak ones like Pilsner Urquell, Budweiser Budvar, Zlaty Bazant, etc. Jeez I hope Canada has way better beer than Labatt Blue.

Meh you just posted me a link of a bunch of lagers which North America all does horribly. Ales though the US has some incredible shit.

It's still mostly dog piss in the US as well unless you got a hardon for IPAs.
Untrue, lots of amazing pale ales, stouts, and porters being made in the US. Especially on the west coast at breweries like Stone, Sierra Nevada, Bear Republic, Lagunitas, Deschutes, Rogue, etc.

Well I think the only thing those ramblings made clear is that there is gonna be a shit ton more tariffs on 4/2. Not putting a lot of stock in whatever Lutnick says on TV to try to soothe the markets.

This is exactly what the business community wants, instability with no clear understanding of what happens next.
Too bad they are only screaming the warnings in their SEC filings. Like bio/pharma talking about potential delays to trials and approvals because of loss of capacity and disruption at the FDA.

I do think we've entered a period where corporate leaders are going to be legit afraid to criticize the administration. I'm sure conservatives are going to be very upset about this any minute now.

Also millions of armed patriots will be looking for a 2nd amendment solution because free speech is really important to them.

This is the thing I don't get. Instability is terrible for business. Stability and predictability means businesses can make short and long term plans with reasonable confidence

No one wants to speak first and be the nail. Trump and Musk have huge megaphones they can use to direct their ire.

One big reason we need to get money out of politics. Elon has a bottomless pit to primary people, but Trump only spends his supporter’s money that he has grifted. Well, and any billionaire’s who has bought him.

It really just shows the need to have governments crush all billionaires out of existence. No single person should have that much money to be able to throw around such undue influence.

I never really used to think that when they were better behaved like maybe Warren Buffett. But this current batch mostly from Silicon Valley are ruining it for the rest of them.
