When forced to choose between their wallets or their bigotry, they'll choose their bigotry each and every time. Don't take my word for it, just ask one of them. They got this the last time he was President and they lined up and voted for him again. I'm glad they're getting exactly what they voted for. Democracy in action.

Most of them would almost certainly vote for him in 28 also. Rural America has three times voted for its own self destruction and what they chose is at hand. So be it.

You're smarter than a lot on here who are still caught up in empathy, nostalgia, togetherness, etc!

While I was travelling overseas.. I met up with a spanish guy and his indian lover. I was curious about the running of the bulls in spain and asked him is it really popular? And they said among the idiots yeah.. but the smart people have a saying..

"bull.. come and gore me!"

Basically assisted suicide via a bull!

To be fair, it takes at least a few months of Fox News / Newsmax propaganda for them to forget and forgive Trump, so long as they have a common minority to hate together.

Yes I did, and he means exactly what Canada says in their ad. Trump is the one lying.

After watching that, YT recommended this one.

Obviously Doug Ford used AI to fake this, then used his time machine to travel back 8 years, then had crack agents sneak his lying advert onto the Regan Library channel.

The Senate voted yesterday 52-48 in favor of overturning the Brazil tariffs. A few Republicans may have temporarily grown a spine. Not sure if will do much good though with Johnson slithering around the House.
I feel that Brazil and US will be on talks and don't be surprised if ends on a deal.

Johnson won't bring it to a vote and trump would just veto it. Our system is so broken.

Trump’s big meeting with Xi mostly results in a ceasefire. Delay some actions, modest tariff relief. China tariffs still at least 40% and they promise (maybe) to buy like a third of their annual soy. Pretty weak result that will get flipped over once Trump gets angry about something in a week or two.

The key thing for me is Rare Earth's and is China changing any of it's export controls? If not, the entire thing was a waste of time.

Generous timeline

Pausing at current levels I think. This sounds like more of a temporary ceasefire and not a “deal”.

Pausing at current levels with Rare Earth Minerals export controls is still not really helpful. I guess better than nothing.

China doesn't really look that strong here either. They still have 47% tariffs on their goods, and agreed to buy soybeans again.
China isn't doing the stupid dick measuring thing that Trump seems to think defines who "wins" a deal.

They still have access to US tech and ports and I guess they think that more important long term than who they get their soybeans from!

If anybody remembers Trump 1.0 the Chinese agreed to massive commodity purchases that never took place.

This. So even though China didn't buy soybeans under the US 2020 trade agreement, all is forgiven because it promised to buy more this time? Oh, Donnie, what a deal maker you are!

He has a concept of a deal! "It's being very close to resolved,”. Meaning I don't have a deal yet but I'm going to convince everyone that I do. He has no idea how anything actually works and worse, he doesn't give a fuck. New dementia driven rules and threats every five minutes. Trump gets a deal we already had and acts like he something amazing. Well shit! Trump damn near "fixed" a "problem" he created! The arsonist wants credit for putting out the fire he started.

Trump: "We took in trillions!" So where the fuck did the TRILLIONS go? Certainly NOT to keep SNAP, Medicaid and ACA subsidies going. Always full of shit.

America - a case study of the steady devolution of a nation.
