Which is hilarious since America's media heroes are almost exclusively anti-fascist, anti-government, anti-authoritarian, and in some cases overtly anarchist.
 
It's not like the US didnt have cards to play.. You did, you had. Its just that Trump threw away the deck and pushed all in. In a game with no rules, you have to be an idiot sit down at the table in the first place. The USA will punch itself out with no involvement from anyone else at all.

China doesn't have to sell us cheap stuff.. we're 300 million people in a planet with 8.3 billion people. So China will be able to find other buyers.

We're going to be the ones that aren't going to be able to buy cheap stuff anymore!

What MAGA has done is the equivalent of an own goal in the 3rd period of game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Or well something like this..

What's so infuriating was that even Biden was actually doing something to bring manufacturing back and Trump put the kibosh to it...

I think the country soured on dems when Carrier laid off those workers and it went viral and we've been in Trump's world ever since even when he was out of office.

For a revolution to truly grab hold in America again.. we need a viral moment that sears itself into American pysche of how Trump lost Americans something that they can't get back.. like American manufacturing thanks to Trump..

And Trump hanging out with billionaires, giving them tax cuts is seemingly priming the fuse. The country is just about ripe and a spark could just set it all off.

If America has anything close to a national religion at this point it is wide access to inexpensive consumer goods and when the prices for those increase or the products disappear entirely they are going to absolutely rage lol. We just had a whole ass election about inflation and it's clear voters fucking hate it and would literally rather have 10% unemployment. Trump promised lower prices and is going to deliver higher prices and shortages. His billionaire admin is out there suggesting people consume less and be more poor instead which is, to be generous, a doomed strategy.

The reality is, both the Democrats and Republicans have shifted so far in their respective directions relative to center they they have both become memes. In no realistic world was Biden, who could only rarely speak an entire sentence at the end of his term without obvious signs of dimentia, which was ignored by his party until it became impossible, who allowed the Mexico border crisis to become so bad they they resorted to waiving 26 federal laws to RESUME the construction of Trumps border wall, a good centrist president. He skirted by on the minimum on some issues, like foreign policy, but failed miserably on domestic policies. His party then turned on him at the end and "installed" a very unpopular presidential candidate that bypassed all the democratic primaries. Shameful. That is the Democratic party of today, trying their best to alienate centrists and look for innovative ways to make itself irrelevant.

Trump is largely ignorant, unhinged, and shows terrible, downright horrible judgement on foreign policy, but he has seized onto stopping illegal entry and residence in the country, which needs to be done, but he is going about it, in many cases, in inhumane ways. Trump is unhinged, but not senile. Hes essentially the antithesis of Biden. His party, the Republicans, have gone so far to the right, that they outwardly appear to think that he can do no wrong, and that what is being done is completely normal and not extremely embarassing for the entire nation. Their refusal to question their god-king is extremely disturbing. Israel is pounding Gaza into dust, and Trump has publicly humiliated the president of Ukraine, who is fighting a brutal invasion of his country, while walking on egg shells to avoid publicly criticizing Putin. The Republican party has largely become Christo-fascist, which ironically, is very un-Christlike.

Im fed up with both parties and really think the US needs a true centrist party. I dont know what it would take for that to happen, but its very clear our current two party system is becoming untenable.
