MSNBC refuses to air one second of it, and CNN is only going to air short clips. So fa, the only station with full coverage is Fox (what a shock).

As for me? The TV is going to be on the Twilight Zone Marathon on SyFy..

I will likely have 1776 (the musical) on in the background because I watch it annually on the 4th. Tradition from college.. Although likely with less alcohol today. 😉

I always wondered why the Redcoats didn't just call in an air strike on Fort McHenry.

Well, we all know that when George Washington crossed the Delaware in 1776, he landed in Pennsylvania. Presumably, with all those troops he had with him, he was flying something like an early 1776 version of a Lockheed C-5A, and due to harsh weather conditions was flying IFR and trying to approach the runway on an ILS glideslope. But Washington discovered to his dismay that in 1776 ILS hadn't been invented yet, so he sort of had to eyeball it, and it was this heroic landing of a big transport full of troops at the Pennsylvania airport that earned him the right to have his mug on the one-dollar bill. It must have been something like that because Trump is a stable genius and wouldn't get this sort of thing wrong.

What a luxury it is that for anyone who wishes to criticise Trump where all they have to do is describe what he actually says and does and not have to make shit up like what the Repubs had to do with/to Obama.

Instead, the Repubs now have to make shit up about Trump in order to make him look even vaguely comparable with Obama in stature, grace, intelligence and diplomacy.

A lose/lose scenario for the Repubs no matter how you look at it because they have to lie to make the Dems look bad and then they have to lie again to make Trump look good.

My wife dragged me into a korean bbq overseas and it was the best bbq I've ever had! When I tried telling a buddy here about it, he looked up the video and saw them cutting meat with scissors into smaller pieces that could be eaten with chopsticks and said no thanks!
