It was on, once again, on TBS. I really liked this movie. I thought it was a very well thought out plot and script. Also, on a side note, do you think that this is possible at all? "Is this possible" meaning have someone raised in a fake world, on a fake island... with fake people. Could it happen today? Would it be easy for the main character to find out that they are on TV?

What did you guys think of this movie?

I guess that it's possible IF you could find a really remote island and guard it so Truman couldn't escape and troublemakers couldn't interfere. No TV network in their right mind would build a massive 5 mile dome in the middle of LA for a TV show, though!
 
great movie. kinda weird how everything goes wrong in one day though...the light falling from the sky, his car radio screwing up...etc.

 
Man I love that intro song. I can't find it anywhere. I found a lot of songs from the truman show soundtrack, but no intro song.
 
If I were Truman, there'd have been hell to pay. Especially after not only the fake world, but someone trying to kill me when I realize what's going on...
 
I saw the ending twice this weekend, but have yet to see the entire movie.

How does he discover that he is on TV and his world isn't real?
 
This movie always freaks me out.
what if right now IM on the truman show..
I mean I havn't been outside the surrounding 3 states and like i dunno :shocked:
