But my whole point is that we human are meat lover and we love meat regardless even if recently become a vegetarian for health reason or to spare the animal some pain lol. Why do you care so much about animal? remember we like lions depend on them for survival, as grass are food for cows and animal are food for us. U see? see? So one day you're on a boat for a few day with nothing to eat except fish, are you going to just drink salt water instead and die from dehydration? Is their life more important then ours? think about it. I don't eat meat as much as some people do but I do occasionally. I wouldn't abandon it altogether just to get the title vegetarian lol. There is no reward or any $$$ for doing so, sure pay me 10 bucks a day and maybe I consider it. maybe :D

THere's the old adage "You go to your church; I'll go to mine."

If someone doesn't want to eat meat or whatever, I could care less. As long as they don't get in the way of my meat, it's fine, otherwise I'll cook and eat them too.

Isn't that the definition for a vegan? I am not sure but I have heard that vegans will not eat any animal products, including eggs or milk, does this fall under your definition as well? I had a friend that would only eat free range stuff because he didn't like how animals were treated in captivity.

wow this has to be the most insightful thing ive ever read on ATOT. i especially like the part: So one day you're on a boat for a few day with nothing to eat except fish, are you going to just drink salt water instead and die from dehydration? the juxtaposition of two completely different things brings out the futility of being on boats soo well.

PC166, to you i saw BRAVO! Well put Sir!

vegans and vegetarians are different: most vegetarians i know eat a lot of yogurt, honey, butter, milk and other animal products that do not kill the animal for sustinence.

I see you're just an attention seeker, how long can you stand this? perhap weeks or maybe a few month at most then realize you're lacking protein and are just as green as plant LOL. Next thing you be standing in the sun completely naked inorder to be just as healthy as plant themselve haha this is good one :D
Let me tell you about a girl I know say she a vegetarian, well it only last as long as she could stand eating veggy, next month asked if she is still is. replied with,"wtf are you talking about? never said I was a veggy." LOL attention seeker! see seee? It can only last so long as to impress someone with their amusing behavior :D So are you going to get on the bicyle and ride for couple hours to work instead cause cars are bad for the environment and you're saving the environment lol. Yea, that something to be proud of.

hmm...well, i'm a vegetarian---no fish, meat, or poultry; I dont care what people eat, but i became one b/c back in the days we raised our chickens, and pigs, and i was the one chasing them so my grandmother could slaughter them. All i know is that the chickens ran for their lives and so did the pigs(never chased a cow); so i figured, hell, they are animals, but yet, they do anything possible to keep their 'animal' lives alive. Interesting thing was that i would feed these animals, and they would come to me no problem; but the day they were going to be slaughtered, they didnt fall for that trap; as soon as they saw me coming with the food instead of coming to me, they would run away. Never figured that one out, but i did figure to become a vegetarian cause, hell, nowadays you can get by, without having to eat meat.

Meat is good for you and most of us with enough brain cells know that from off the top of our head even without any education. Sure too much of it is not good because of excessive fat but neither is too much vegetable, this is like limiting yourself to only one diet and in the long run you body will be meat starved lol constantly craving. You vegan plz do us a favor, buy some meat, eat it and enjoy like the rest of us. You are doing the right thing and the economy will boom like once was a few years ago. Any meat that is not sold and kept too long is going into the dumpster anyway so this is bad for the environment. don't be afraid to meet your meat, it is your food lol. One that are afraid will never face the truth and will hide in shadow forever until death do they part. sad but true. :D:D:D

In the words of Chris Rock "livin' in America makes you one of the few lucky motherf*ckas on this planet that can eat a steak whenever you want! You better eat that damn steak!" ;)

But let's look at it realistically, is you becoming vegan really stopped anyone from eatting meat at all? I do not know why a lion is refusing to eat meat because it feel sorry for it's prey and instead began to eat grass just like any other animal? lol. How can this be? God created lion to eat other animal and we are no different, we eat the lions instead it's only fair. :D Let me tell you how funny this is, my father which i convinced to become a vegan only last a week, then his mind revert back and become a meat loving eater like he once was. The next week, i tell him but you are eating animal and it's cruel lol he say so what? who cares? :D he is right! and so is many people that I know that are vegan that didn't last too long because I help set them straight and they were much happier every since. peace my friend. easy does it, easy. :D:):D

Man is meant to be an omnivore, means we eat both meat and veggies. Too much meat is bad for you, but so is a diet with no meat in it. Meat has proteins we can't get from beans and tofu. The key is moderation: eat some meat and some veggies. The all-or-nothing thing just don't work out good.

BTW, I love burgers, tacos, hot dogs and pizza!
