Do they make lids for toilets? I maintain that they are proof against dentures falling in. Another believes the lid was devised by a nefarious witch to torture men even more than the average woman. The third says it serves to prevent escape of unpleasant contents.

What say you?

I say that they were planted by an advanced time-travelling race to nudge our species in a certain direction. An innocuous device that can subtley bring about terrific change over the long-term. In the far future, events of terrible import will occur that otherwise might never have happened.

the third. you ever close it before you flush? do for a bit and see how dirty it gets. all that stuff would normally fly up into the bathroom air and land on your toothbrush.

The question arises, do you not only put the seat down before you flush but do you also put the lid down.

This is important shyt.

The lid is there for a good reason. Often the toilet is by the tub. When you step out of the tub and misjudge your step, you don't want your foot to fall in the toilet, do you?

I often place my clothes on the lid before showering too.
