Just got a BB Curve. So many menus, applications, buttons, don't know where anything is. I was so bewildered. I am used to my simple phones, and this just threw a curve at me.

So my 12 year nephew was telling me how to change ring tone, change backgrounds, clicks, etc. The torch has been passed. Before, it used to be me telling relative how to set up things, or do computer stuff. Everyone would ask me for advice. Now I needed advice. :(

It's ok, at least you now have a Blackberry. Aside from the learning curve I find BB to be super awesome!

The day that I can't figure out how to use a piece of technology and have to ask someone else is the day I cut my wrists

My question is... how in the world did your 12 yr old nephew know what to do w/ a blackberry? Or do you mean he could figure it out quickly? If the former... please tell me it's because one of his parents has one...

I wish that torch would be passed around me. I'm very good with gadgets.

If that torch was passed around me it would have been overclocked and sent on its way.

So what kind of a case do I get for my bb curve? The OEM silicon ones sold at ATT store? I only looked at it, didn't try it on. I used to have a silcon case a while back for another phone, and it was good, but sticky. It would attract all kinds stuff while in the pocket, and would get stuck in the pocket too.

I would prefer a hard case which also covers the screen. I drop my phone a lot for some reason.
