The thing with working night shifts...

It's 5:00am, I don't work today, and I'm wide awake. The sun is already starting to come up. 😵 It's actually really weird to see that happen, almost surreal. There's no windows at work so I don't see it happen normally.

It's going to be so hard getting up early next time I have to work a day shift. D:

I should probably go to bed. Though I almost feel like I could easily just stay up right through.

I had to google that, but yeah much better. 😛 I always find it hard to fall asleep but once I do, I sleep well. The nice thing with night shifts is I don't need an alarm to wake me up, so I get a very good sleep and wake up on my own, not tired. I wish I could work nights all the time actually but I'd fall out of the loop with happenings at work, so it's best to rotate.

I'm actually debating on just staying up, but I'll probably regret it later in the day.

Whenever my insomnia keeps me awake till this late (like now), I just consider the night a writeoff and stay up. Gets me more tired for the next night, so I'm more likely to crash.

Otherwise, I pop antihistamine like it's candy 🙁
