Lets make it an S-curve, though. So that the three middle levels would have the least difference between them, while the outlying levels of difficulty would have the greatest.
I like that idea.
OK, here's my first contribution for a question. "What is the purpose of the reset button and what does it do?"
I suggest this for level 1 or 2 (pending decision of names. 1 being the nOObiest and 10 being most expert).
The reason I suggest this is because when first getting a computer with one, I was scared to death to press it. In a vague uninformed way, I thought it would do something like reformat or delete data/proggies, or *gasp* bring up a DOS type BIOS screen (which really scared the bejebus outta me). I couldn't have articulated this at that time, cuz I didn't know what a reformat was LOL
Umm.. Next question could what is a reformat and what does it do?. That's maybe a little higher in the scale though.
Other stuff that amazed me back then. Defragg, file clean-up & general maintance things. I remember being amazed the first time i saw a defrag ran. The pc was getting really slow and a guy dropped by and defragged it. I remember thinking "Fvck, what a computer genius!"
So next question. What does the defrag found in systems tools and why is it neccessary/beneficial.
Of course they could also be quite few questions that concern definitions
