My dear people, the most unholy dread of all the wicked and perverse manifestations of evil fill my heart tonight as I ponder upon the gruesome sight my aged eyes did see. Never before have I seen such clear and definite evidence of horror. It seemed that the farthest reaches of gehenna showed through the broken spaces of the golden yellow openings before me and bade me warning of the impending annihilation of the sacred and dear.

As it happened, I had my digicam and took pics.

Behold! The Pumpkin of Doom!

Look at how it mocks me... "Now better tasting" it claims, the monster.

It already has the fire started, no doubt to lure and roast unsuspecting passerbys.

that's really funny...

i love to carve pumpkins... this year i used a fake one and took my dremel to it.. really cool.. i put a battery operated strobe light in there (from Michaels) which gives it a great look.
 
How about you carve a bust of Linuxboy into one pumpkin and he carve the same of you in another pumpkin? Then you can set one on each side of the door outside. 🙂

What are you, the king of pumpkin carving? I felt pretty good about not messing up the =)

Oh come on; live a little. You don't have to be Rembrandt to carve pumpkins. Besides, it doesn't matter what everybody else thinks about your pumpkin carving skills. Take your time and do it right. 🙂
