Damn. I still have the original module on a bookshelf somewhere. Pretty amazing stuff. Might be interesting to see what they can do with it. Great to see Greyhawk in any event - that world was so incredibly underrated.

On my list of "looking forward to". Even if it only gets average reviews I'll pick it up.

Personally I'm more interested in Troika's other project (Vampire - Bloodlines), but ToEE definitely sounds promising as far as D&D titles go. Hey, at least it's not another Forgotten Realms offering. :)

This may be old news...but I read that Turbine's (I'm pretty sure it's them) next MMORPG, due in 2004, is going to be based on AD&D rules (newest edition) -- you did mention one of the best modules ever, so I though it was related.

Can anyone confirm this? Have any more info?

It'd finally be a online game I'd consider subscribing to...

Yea, Bloodlines also looks good. Although after years of being a first person shooter fan, Ive really gotten burnt out on the first person perspective.

A great isometric CRPG that dosent use the infinity engine is something that has me very excited:) Other notable things that have me excited about the game are the 3.5 edition ruleset, TurnBased combat, as mentiond something outside of Forgotten Realms. Also from the trailer and screen shots Im really likeing the graphics and spelleffects.

Cant wait for this one!

That Half-Life 2 engine does look good, though.

TurnBased combat
That's huge, no doubt. Kudos to the devs for not giving in to real-time mania just to make a few bucks, and instead wisely sticking with what worked so well in Fallout and Arcanum. (Having both modes available to the player would be nice, but considering the problems that option caused with Arcanum I think they made the right decision this time around.)

The D&D name alone should be more than enough to sell copies of ToEE even if turn-based combat does alienate a few buyers.
