Demo is only running DX9 medium.

The part in the demo with Flemeth walking through the fire ran as smooth as the rest of the game on my mediocre rig (e6300 2.8/hd3870 512/4gb ddr2) @ 1680x1050.

Can't wait for the game, but I need to finish DA:O and DA:O:A.

The demo runs in High if you select the DX11 renderer.

Also Very High is available by downloading the DA2 Very High Res Pack on Bioware's website.

It's not fire but smoke that's the problem that I can see with the graphical engine.
 
Well you gotta hack it, you just gotta put the high res textures in the high folder. So you are replacing the high textures with Very High ones.
