In behalf of fundamental conservatives everywhere, I would like to apologize for the amount of ignorance that this individual is hoarding and I promise that it will be fairly redistributed to the masses.

Huh? What did I do?

:Q

You've quoted "facts" you can't substantiate, you've stated your opinion in the most inflammatory manner possible, you're stereotyped multiple groups of people (liberals and gays, for instance), you've mixed logic with illogic (child w/heterosexual parents is a good thing, 50% of gays will molest children), and generally behaved like an idiot. What college do you go to?

BTW, this criticism is brought to you by a fundamentalist conservative who probably agrees with you on many base issues but is appalled by your misinformation on many things and especially by your way of interacting with people.

No, you dingbat, they're taking the loophole in what you said (because you did not define what "hot" is) and providing their own, equally valid definitions whereby the sun is not hot. You can't argue that the sun is less hot than many other stars, or less hot than lightening. What you need to learn to do is define your terms from the beginning. If you defined hot to start with as "any temperature beyond what humans find comfortable", no one would disagree with you.

Yeah, but if those were bannable offences there wouldn't be many people left posting here :)

Given that I got two such comments, I'll make mention right now that if what seems to be common sense reasoning = smart, this world is in a sad state. :p

Heat is relative. Is it hot compared to, say, Uranus? Sure.
Hot compared to a white dwarf? Not so much.

Agreed, but it's had to find a common sense person among the degrading human social structure.

You get credit for occasionally backing down when faced by logic. Now, the accusations you're making in the other thread are about parallel to the logic you used in accusing liberals in this thread, understand? You're making minor and occasionally major slips in fact and logic, and you're not seeing them. So what looks perfectly sensible to you looks completely unreasonable to everyone else. It's not just the argument you're making, which many of them could accept as a reasonable argument if you were to go about it right, it's the way you're making the argument that's inviting them to tear you apart.

I disagree. It's objective. There's an absolute zero that signifies an absolute lack of heat, beyond which everything else is either the same or hotter.

Like I said in the other thread; forget about eveything else that I lazily said. Here is my most humble point: I believe that children are meant to be raised by a man and woman; therefor, two gays raising a child isn't good.

A little late to retract - you are now a marked man. Better luck with your next threads. :)
