A survey of U.S. clergy has shed new light on the extent of homosexuality in the priesthood, increasingly a subject of debate amid the sex abuse scandal that has shaken the Roman Catholic Church.

Many Catholic priests say there's a gay subculture in their dioceses, religious orders or seminaries, according to the mail survey, released Friday.

Nineteen percent of respondents questioned said there was "clearly" a gay subculture in their dioceses or religious orders, and 36 percent said there "probably" was. Asked the same question about the seminaries they attended, 15 percent said "clearly" and 26 percent "probably."

as far as i know there is no legitimate connection between homos and pedophiles. (i know you didnt make that assumption but i just want to be clear before others do)

The overwhelming majority of pedophiles are hetero. But blaming the pedophelia on homosexuality is a joke anyway...
Think of this: The rate of homosexuality in male hairdressers must approach 100%.
I bet there are as many male hairdressers in this country as there are priests...if not, you can assume a percentage here.


Why aren't the hairdressers being caught with young boys????

The hairdressers union has more hush money. They've been settlings their abuses quietly for years now.
