I bet Harley may not even care about the money. If it were me I'd just want the guy to get what he deserves, so not so friendly jail time.

I'm wondering why no one got arrested for this. Isn't what was done illegal in many ways - kidnapping, fraud, credit card fraud, etc.?

Good to hear it worked out the best that it could for him. Absolutely fvcking horrible way to spend the last decade of your life. This Randy guy deserves to have years shaved off his life and have them donated directly to Harley and his deceased wife so that they could've spent more time together.

People are fvcking pricks.

it sounds as if I just read a transcript for a dateline special.

but a satisfying ending to an otherwise sad story :(.

I just read this, and I am more than happy to hear that it seems like the law worked in the favor of your family. Pricks like that Randy guy just drive me up the wall, I think it would have taken every ounce of self-restraint not to pummel that asshat into a bloody pulp.
