No, mixed economy, just like int he US, you do know that there are several european countries ahead of the US when it comes to capitalism (governmental restrictions on trade in a free market) or perhaps you don't.

IOW, Germany isn't socialist and the US is not capitalist, countries like Uzbekistan are more capitalistic than the US, if that helps any...

Mixed economies, well, we all are, taxes has nothing to do with socialism, restrictions on the free marketplace do, and on that, US is no more capitalistic than Germany.
