The SOB TeAm is about to get thumped... we could use some help!

Our SOB TeAm is set to get pushed back to 4th place in 26 days & back to 5th in about 72 days. If i recall, weren't we #1 at one time?
If you take a look here you can see there are other threats farther out too. I don't think we can hold off Free-DC but at least let's try to hold off some of the others.


If anyone would like to help us out it would be appreciated and payed back. I've been thinking it's time to try something else at the beginning of the year anyway.

Since the wife has gone back to work (music teacher, same schedule as the schools), I'll see if I can't get another cruncher up and running tonight. Not much, just a lowly XP1600+. About the only thing I have extra worth running.
 
Like Spacehead said, this use to be our game.. and we need to show them that TA don't just pull over and let any one pass!! 😀

I'll see what I can do.. Oh and I'll flush what I have tomorrow!
 
If you're looking for motivation to run this project, remember that every test you do could result in one of the remaining primes being found! It's like a free lottery... with no monetary reward! 😀 but you will get your name, and TA's name, recorded in a small piece of history.
 
I like this project so far. My machine can't handle BOINC right now (too hot in the small office), but this runs well. And it keeps my procs below 130 degrees (F). With BOINC running, I was hitting 155 degrees (F). And I have the laptop crunching SoB too....
 
Bah. The damn AC from up in the house after I lowered it from 78 to 75. 😕 So I had to take down my main machikne, and Liz powered down hers as well. This sucks. But the laptop is still crunching away happily, I see...

Mmmmm. More crunchers. 🙂 And yes, I am back up and running. It ended up being the filter that was clogged to hell and back. So the big machine is crunching again, yay...

Speaking of which, how are we doing with getting thumped? I wasn't here before, so I don't know how we are doing before / after kinda thing....

Here or the project overall?

I'm sure it's not as big as it used to be project-wise. It's certainly not as active a project here as it used to be, since we used to own this project a few years back.
