i am a superfan of older simcities (particularly sc2000), but im not sure about the newest simcity. no subway? no terraforming? that seems like terrible things to leave out.

Only place in the south that's known for palm trees is Florida. I didn't think plantations were as big there (compared to GA and AL) because of the heat and hurricanes.

Yes, it's history, but certain history is just kinda 'off limits' in most people's minds. When you played as the Germans in Call of Duty, you never pulled guard duty on a concentration camp.

The screens for the new simcity look pretty good.

The other news is turrible - looks like cities will be limited in size, always online/online only. There's a thread in the pc gaming forum.

Just curious, when you say you are "surprised maxis is allowed to sell this game" who do you think could mandate that they not sell this game if it was in fact a game they were marketing?
