Arnold around 19-20 years old...

Genetic freak!

It's easy to say a lot of people do steriods, but there are some naturals in this world. I'm not saying Arnold was 100% clean all the time, I have no idea, but with or without the juice, he had it.

Also, like I said (I think), he's actually in great shape at the moment.

well he wasn't born like that, he just started body building at a very young age

No, it's genetics.

I'm pretty sure it's chopped. I have another one that is similar, and I found out it was fake.

I don't see how he could have looked like that, then gotten back into shape for T3.

Edit: Think about it....he looks worn down and a bit stooped over in that pic....he never looks like that otherwise. He has erect posture and still looks fit.

This is so fscking stupid.

The last picture is taken while he was recovering from heart surgery. ANY body builder who does not train for months will pack on fat and look dumpy. You guys see pics of body builders after they complete a cutting cycle. Have you seen one while they are bulking? Most look like fat whales when they bulk.

Just a year or so after that last pic, Arnold was back in shape and filming T3.

What would you know about this kind of stuff?

Just because you actually hit the gym, watch your weight, eat right and work towards building a body, does not mean that you know more about body building and lifting weights than the ATOT know-it-alls.

I tried explaining it was right after heart surgery, and that he actually is back in fantastic shape but then again, I forgot who I was talking to.

Don't make the same mistake I did. They're pretty sure, they know everything.

No, he's certainly not in bad shape for his age.........however........I'm gonna assume he'll not be doing any shirt-off movie roles for the rest of *this* lifetime!

Shows how smart you are. That last pic in your OP was taken BEFORE he filmed T3.

He has suffered tremendous muscle-mass loss. It's actually rather surprising his chest is not hanging down to his knees, however the layer of muscle on his chest is truly thin! (he's still retained the "barrel chested" conversion in his sternum originally given him by his drug use)

His muscle loss was intentional. He no longer wanted, or needed to be as big as he was. Muscle loss does NOT mean flab. One can downsize and still be lean and cut. Arnold proves it in T3 which was, again, filmed AFTER the post heart surgey pic you posted in your OP.

In fact, more info for those who think the 3rd picture is somehow representive of a downward spiral of Arnold's physique:

Arnold's Heart surgey was in 1997 and this picture was taken shortly after.

Since that pic was taken he has filmed:

End of Days
The 6th Day
Collateral Damage
Terminator 3

In all he was built, cut and in excellent shape. Far better than any of you will look in your 50s, I'm sure.

Yes, Arnold is smaller. But this was intentional. He has discussed downsizing his muscle mass many times. All that is required to do so is diet and cardio. Body builders who quit exercising altogether end up dumpy and fat because they keep roughly the same massive diet and do no cardio. Muscle mass can be lost without looking flabby, Runners do it every day.

Ahhh..........so the pic was a fake!! No.........wait, wait..........it wasn't???

Yes.........bodybuilders (drug users) during the bulking phase look like pumpkins. No, not all bodybuilders look "fat & dumpy" if they're not training. Besides............who said he looked "fat & dumpy"???

I also didn't notice in either of your links where that particular pic was used in the article.

Aside from all of that, I don't much care. As an admirer of Arnold, I was actully just a bit disappointed that he'd let his physique turn like that. (surgery or not)

The other stuff I mentioned before, is true. Fried foods, advocating one routine & practicing another.

I'll recant on the possibility of him never doing another shirt-off role again, however, aside from CD, I haven't found his physique to be all impressive. CD showed some mass in his arms, but definition was not there.......(amazing how mass/definition don't go hand-in-hand when you're not bollin'). And, again, for the age argument, look at the Ferrigno post.

You've also got to have a pretty tough skin to be Arnold. Remember.........this guy was the *mouth* of the IFBB back in the day. He couldn't shutup to save his life. Yes, he was great *then*.

I'll letcha' get back to upping your post count now! ;)
