Anyone pick this up? It's by the guys who made Magicka and currently in Beta, but you can pre-order to get in. There's currently only 1 (edit: 2) maps and a handful of characters, but so far it's been an enjoyable experience.
Gameplay-wise, it's a 2D multiplayer arena brawler/shooter, focused around using the keyboard to move and mouse to aim. It exhibits heavy similarities to games such as The Outfoxies or Soldat. The characters are straight out of classic action flicks and you'll hear a bevvy of familiar one-liners as you battle.
I thought it was a little basic at first but it grew on me after a couple more plays. You can play custom games with up to 8 people, or ranked 1v1 games, both of which are fun in their own right.
There are still a few bugs and balance issues, but - as mentioned - it's still in beta.
