The Screen Savers are having a little challenge. If you hack their PC you will be invited to be on the show. The only bad thing is if you win you have to find your own way to get there.

the firewall is probably on, and the default setup blocks ping, so that doesn't tell you crap
somebody at least has to nmap it first, but this is exercise is a bit silly, script kiddies can't touch it

no necessarily, if the firewall is on and all ports are blocked? i don't know , the best thing to do would be to setup a SP2 box locally and nmap it to compare to
