From this THREAD

in some ways, it's still true, even in today's society where women have made great strides.

it's still a male dominated society, and men always want someone younger, more beautiful.

look at michael douglass and catherine zeta jones.

and when you want to show off at a party/social setting, other men will be more jelous when they see you walking in w/a 20 year old trophy wife/play thing vs wearing a $1000 suit or a $10k rolex.

Your thoughts?

You can, but just be prepared to spend a LOT of money.

Seriously, how many marriges would be saved if maybe once a year each person got to have a 3 or 4 day fling? Just sex, nothing more.

Probably a lot, but don't even attempt to argue the point with either Dr. Phil or Dr. John Gray. Between the two of them, they have less testosterone than the aforementioned Bo Derek.

I guess its sorta true maybe. I don't really know.

Though the divorce rate is 50% and rising because of all the cheating, distrust, etc going on sadly :( Though i can't do anything about it except to not ever get divorced which is exactly what i am doing. So i will never be part of the divorce rate of 50% and rising!

Don't even get me started. My gf loves Dr. Phil, and it's seriously pissing me off. I just think the fact that love and sex are so inextricably linked causes more harm than good since it violates the most primal male urge.

Both Dr. Phil and Dr. John Gray have a primarily female audience, and they are both very good at telling their audience what they want to hear.

This is one of the reasons I use the old woman icon.

I don't want to be ruled by the measure of youth and beauty. I want my voice to be heard, and I want my spirit to be what people remember about me.

I also find it distasteful to use 'feminine wiles' to get what I want. I can... but I'd rather not. I don't like myself afterwards. Manipulating 'The Dumb Stick' is, to me, disrespectful of men and also far too easy. I prefer an intellectual challenge!

If I could be a Greek Goddess, it would be Athena. She was beautiful, but she was known for her wisdom more than her beauty. She helped Perseus kill the Gorgon, she gave Athenes the olive tree, etc etc. All anyone remembers about Aphrodite is that she was hot and caused a lot of problems. :p

Most young women are fine until they open their mouths. Of course the same can be said for young men too.

Something about that statement bothers me, maybe cause its true idk it just comes off as haughty to me. Then stating i prefer an intellectual challenge is furthering the "game" aspect of the sexes where its all a battle to get her to like him etc etc. Yes i know i read way 2 far into that statement, o well.

I don't think anyone thinks that or stated that?

Essentially the same can be said for a man though "A Man's worth is his youth and ****" if were gonna ignore all the other capabilities and women at any age might as well ignore them for men. I don't really agree with the quote btw :)

Dang im in a spastic thinking mood today :\ (what else is new right? ! )

Yeah but Aphrodite is still the goddess of love, and she even got a hairstyle named after her.

I know it sucks Geekbabe, but only because society is holding up a twisted mirror for us. Don't let it fool you.

You can only perceive real beauty in a person as they get older.

Maleficus, this is what my husband tells me... that is is easy for women to manipulate men sexually. I'm not being haughty... I'm going by what I've been told by one of your own.

Feel better now? :p

Invisible to who, Geekbabe? Wankers who are looking for fapping material? :p

You won't be invisible to your children and your grandchildren, and those whose lives you have touched along the way. And does anyone else matter?

Nope! :D

That's all fine and dandy but who wants to live 35+ years like some sort of asexual rock that never gets touched or wanted?

I'm approaching 40 soon -- that's why I'm only gonna go after girls 45 and up. Below 45 and they are too childish.
