Just watched the unrated dvd of The Ruins. This movie is graphically horrifically disgusting. I love horror flicks, and this one had me squirming. Storywise it's about as dumb as all the other teens in distress movies, but nothing like slicing open someone with a knife to pull out squiggly sentient vines to give you the willies. Yikes.

The Ruins was pretty good. I liked how it could become a outbreak.

Ok, this movie upset me. It is nothing like the book - which was excellent. Read the book.

The Descent was much better IMO
