Being against the existence of the British Royal Family is fine enough and the republican arguments have some merit to them - but if you sit there going on about peasantry, bowing down, cow-towing, idols, etc. then you are not going to be taken seriously.

BY ALL MEANS THEN, do make an argument. I would be delighted to see your moral justifications for hanging on to the discriminatory and racist institution of "nobility". Did you check out the documentary or you just don't know what "irrational" means?

You have already been caught once in here commenting on opinions of mine you haven't bothered to read through. I am not gonna beg you to watch the documentary too so I can prove my rationality to you. My facts have been laid, you prefer to ignore them.

If you were civil I'd try and converse with you, but time and time again you come back with petty childish insults. You've got nothing, you know it. I'd debate with you but as I've said before "Can you do it without insults?" Can you have an adult conversation with me on this subject?

Also I just watched the "documentary" you posted, which was a video of someone being arrested for conspiring to cause a problem at the wedding, and trespassing. What's the issue here?

I know, but you have to understand InfoHawk's motivation. He isn't a typical American, he is more of a white supremacist type who thinks that the concept of a pure royal bloodline is acceptable and interesting. Moreover, he favors the religious discriminatory aspects of the monarchy.

The Royalists haven't really put up any facts.

The Royalists say "the monarchy increases UK tourism money!" without providing a shred of evidence. On the contrary, the royal residences barely generate any tourism revenue compared to other tourist spots.

The Royalists say that they've seen the royal collection, that it's all available to the public. No, the reality is that they haven't, only about 2% of it is even available to the public.

The Royalists don't even address the religious and gender discrimination aspects of their Monarchy.

The Royalists just like the tradition, despite how absolutely disgusting this tradition is in a modern society.
 
I cannot think of any event in modern history that I cared less about, and that was less important, than the "Royal" wedding...

I also question your statement on how we (USA) won but all these other people didn't. They did win. The British Empire consistently lost all over the world when it was losing its colonies. It is likely the most defeated country in history.

Are you next going to say that Jews hate the Nazis because their identity was traumatized in some way or that they were "smacked down," too?

Until this orgy of publicity over this wedding occured I was expecting it to develop somewhere along those lines too. Hell, here in Greece we had huge publicity recently over the heir apparent's wedding (and we're talking about a royal family supposedly ousted 40 years ago). With this wedding in England the royal family in Greece have goten a boost and there has been discussion for the establishment of a royal party headed by the dethroned king! You may think this is all just a nuisance but to me it seems complacence is feeding those zombies' ambitions for a total comeback in power.
