First Zanies in Israel and in the Palestinians sides drove all moderates out of the political process, and now even groups like Hamas and Hezzbollah are being driven out of the political process because they are too moderate. As Israel undergoes a similar process of driving everyone but Israeli hardliners out of the political process.

And then we expect a rational peace process to come out of such a mess when even the semi Insane are not allowed to rule the mid-east nut house. Only the full blown crazies can claim the ability to run the mid-east nut house as we come closer and closer to a mid-east armaggeden.

Now we have a peace process, which will never progress as long as an Israeli human being is regarded as much more valuable than an equivalent Palestinian human being.

The real question is not who takes their meds, the question is how good the future will taste for anyone.

We can talk about some set of Israeli fan clubbers who look at things as what ever is good for Israel is the only alternative, or we can look at it as a question of can ever Israel become a peaceful part of the mid-east.

You're confusing "aid money" with money that would stabilize a society. Money going to the government first, and the country second will make it so the government doesn't have to live like the rest of the country. How many problems can that really fix?

I think that's the start and end of problems. Western people expect to give $$ and magically have someone to solve the problems. Israel hasn't solved the problems, nor have aid dollars, nor has anything else. When does it sink in that we're trying to get the people causing the problems to solve them?

When was the last time you heard of aid money being stopped due to corruption? This money opens the door for US in foreign territories, I'm sure US would prefer it to go towards physical and human infrastructures but ultimately they don't really seem to mind who takes it - as long as American interests are maintained.
