I'd love a link to the test you found.

Indeed, how can anyone who so enthusiastically supports the Tea Party be considered middle of the road?

Religious anti-government ultra right-wing dogma at the cost of anything sane is not middle of the road, but there is another word for it.

Fundamentalism.

I love how Dems are now (favorably) comparing Obama to Reagan, after vilifying the latter for decades. That's some comical (and hypocritical) shit, right there.

I think this is a fundamental problem for conservatives: the fact that your iq's are so low that you could SOMEHOW read that i was comparing Obama favorably to Reagan when there is no way a person of normal intelligence could possibly pick that up from what i wrote.

Make us love it to, how about a link?

I'm not sure if not joining in with the worship of St. Reagan qualifies as vilification, although it probably seemed that way for hardcore Reaganites. I do recall furious reactions when Dems and Indies challenged Reagan myths with unsavory facts. If there is any actual real vilification of Reagan, my money is on it regarding that whole treason thing, or possibly his trampling of worker rights.

I find comedy and hypocrisy entertaining in this arena, but one is definitely more of a strong suit for the GOTP and it's supporters than the other. If the Dems did something to cause a blip on their hypocrisy meter, cool, let's see it.

I totally believe that the republican have no chance in hell of regaining the white House for a very very long time...as long as the Republicans keep screwing the country!!

Ladies and Gentlemen: the Roll Call of Shame... the 144 Republican House Reps who couldn't bring themselves to do the right thing and re-open the government.

Robert B. Aderholt R AL-4
Snip

I looked over the list and lo and behold even the Teahdists in my state did not vote for the shut down. I'd like to think that they did it because it was the right thing to do, but it more like they wish to continue their careers in congress.

I'd like to see the list who voted to put this country further into debt. Although most of you idiots here think money grows on trees. Stupid partisan hacks that can only see one side. Job well done on bankrupting this country.

The list is right there in the OP. Well part of it, the other part has D's next to their names. Both parties got us in debt.

I agree with the OP... but for different reasons. The Democratic party caters to people who are dependent on our government. What have we seen these last 5 years? More part time jobs, lower pay, increased applications for disability (with a much higher approval rate), reduced requirements for food stamps, easier to obtain phones, and now subsidized healthcare. The voting population will keep voting with the government that gives them more as the people slip farther away from the middle class. This is a fun party until the money dries up.

Acting on behalf of constituents while flying that plane full of innocent people into a building is not in the best interest of the country, don't u know?
And besides. ALL and EVERY ONE of these gerrymandered districts that elected this minority do not reflect the true electorate.
Think of it as a map of any given state with the red outlined of a big hand and the middle finger pointing upwards. THAT is gerrymandered districting.
And it creates a dysfunctional, unrealistic, representation of ones state districts.
This should be outlawed. It will do great harm to America if not.
Yes, outlaw this stunt that both republicans AND democrats use simply to ensure their re election.
If people want a third world Iran-ish or Iraq-ish type of dysfunctional government, keep the gerrymandered district process alive.
But DO NOT expect a functional government in your lifetime.
Think of it as Michele Bachmann on steroids.
THAT vision should scary the holy crapola out of every level headed American.

Best, most accurate, and poinient post in the thread  validated by the fact Londo_Jowo immediately attacked it and called you a crackhead. Thats like the golden seal of approval.

To prove your point one only has to look at all the representatives from Texas's heavily gerrymandered districts on that list who's slack jawed back woods constituants with a third grade education and who's only glimpse of civilization comes on their weekly trip to the walmart 60mi away, in no way speak for the majority of Texans that live in the metropolitan areas of Houston, DFW, San Antonio and Austin.

Where do these idiots get off believing that you're screwing the country unless you're giving a trillion dollars a year to a bunch of wall street crooks? It's a really curious thing. It is obvious proof that there are a lot of people brainwashed by the media owned by those very same crooks that are receiving most of that borrowed money.

Fundamentalism.

The Tea Party supports the US Constitution. You love to spread lies about them. They aren't ultra right wing or anti-government. They believe in small government that is restrained by the Constitution.

The fundamentalists are the ones who keep insisting that spending more money and borrowing from China are the solution.

Where's the list of Democrats who believe that money grows on trees and that deficits don't matter?

Where's the opposition to Democrats, on this. That's right, swinging from trees.

Hello, my fellow Americans. I have a wonderful idea. Deficits are such a danger to the country I'm going to destroy it's economy to bring them down. Once I destroy the country we won't have any money to spend and that will save us.

We all depend on our government.

Its not a healthy attitude to think we aren't all part of the same group, but in different circumstances.

We're all Americans.

We all depend on our government.

Its not a healthy attitude to think we aren't all part of the same group, but in different circumstances.

We're all Americans.

Each individual of the society has a right to be protected by it in the enjoyment of his life, liberty, and property, according to standing laws. He is obliged, consequently, to contribute his share to the expense of this protection; and to give his personal service, or an equivalent, when necessary. But no part of the property of any individual can, with justice, be taken from him, or applied to public uses, without his own consent, or that of the representative body of the people. In fine, the people of this commonwealth are not controllable by any other laws than those to which their constitutional representative body have given their consent.
-John Adams

Obama will have doubled our national debt by the time he leaves office. Yes we are all Americans but not all of us are equal in terms of being self sufficient. In brief ( because I am typing on a crowded bus on an iPad)... Welfare payments by the government are a safety net I do not want to see gone.... Yet I do not want people accepting this circumstance as a way of life. It makes us weaker as a country.
