The Ring was supposed to be scary?

It freaked me out pretty good in the theater at certain parts, but then I didn't like BDS so I think we have different ideas about movies

the us version and the japanese version are practically identical. the US version is CREEPIER. the video is MUCH weirder, and in the US version, their faces and skin change on the 7th day... in the japanese version they just looked freaked out to death.

the japanese version is available for rent. we got ours through netflix. it's distributed by dreamworks. there is also a ring 2 and 3 in japan.
