Yeah, because the original is so much better

Honestly the orginal, Ringu, was terrible. No tension, nothing... the american version, well, the acting wasn't the greatest... heck, my girlfriend I were laughing our heads off until they got to the island because the acting was so bad, but after the island, when things picked up, I can say that I was truly scared.

Bottom line
The Ring > Ringu

Samara endowed it with those powers. Remember how they couldn't find the track information (i forget what it was, but the thing that tells em where the tape was made?) That was because she made it. She just makes them with her mind, i s'ppose Anyways, the tape is the medium for "infection." Sorry, i really can't think of a better word

i know.. i watched the original and wondered, whats all the hype about, the american version is an improvement.

i guess theres something cool and exclusive bout saying u've seen the "original".


too bad its no longer on the big screens, ring has awesome cinematography.

why does everything have to be explained? sometimes the best stories are left to the imagination.

Some of the worst movies I have ever seen try to explain every little nuisance. The movie isn't fun by that point.
